Awesome!! this one really opened my mind!!
Palestinian nationalism -as articulated by the likes of Arafat-, at its core, seems to me like a parody/ reversal of Zionism. I really wish the Palestinians well, and I think the first step is to find a true, authentic identity. I guess if you ask Palestinians "what does it mean to be Palestinian", the answer would always include "resistance to zionism". So I say: the worst and best thing to happen in the region would be an israeli military withdrawal from the west bank. Worst because of the ugly war that would most likely follow. Best because it would surely make obvious who-wants-what and thus end the tedious discussions of western talking heads.
And that worked so well in Gaza . . .

Not really, I think people are tired of hearing about the Palestinians' complaints here in the UK, far more important things going on in the world!
