And what's really changed? Back in the day, Egged bus drivers on local routes would read the newspaper headlines and count money, while driving. אין חדש תחת השמש
What about the guys shaving on their way to work or a simcha? I've seen more of that in the past than lots of the other dangers.
B"H - No Bones, driving is NOT difficult and one CAN do just about everything one wants or needs to while doing it. What really is stressing is this secular, big-brother, controls and prohibitions-freak mentality so comon to socialists and Zionist State-admirers like yourself. Have a look at this around 3 min: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=1Het_GrZVuA
Ariel:
"Zionist State-admirers" like me? You bet your bippie I'm a Zionist!! And this is a proudly Zionist blog! With Zionist cartoons I do and have done for close to 40 years!! If that disturbs you, you're in the wrong place.
Bones
Ariel, It IS dangerous to text while driving. Known fact. You can go to ATT website and look at these videos of people who lost their lives texting and driving.
As far as Zionist, My point is this, You are a religious Zionist, Bones is a secular Zionist, I am a Christian Zionist. So we all love Israel. What's the problem with that? HELLO?
I know your G-d is the only true G-d, the Book you have is really G-d's Word, and I believe that the Yeshua I believe in is the Jewish messiah. I love Israel, the Israeli people, Israel's G-d, I would love, LOVE, to be there and fight with you all against your enemies! G-d bless all Israelis, Jews, Zionists. "I will bless them who bless you and those who curse you -> I <- will curse."
ATT website url is: http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=23184
for all those who want to see sad stories of families and friends of teenage kids who dies while texting.

It's still bad enough that many drivers still talk on the cellphones, never mind texting.
And as for Zionism, you bet I'M a Zionist too! But I suppose that we may have to agree to disagree about the relative merits of our positions until Moshiach comes.
And, just after I moved on to my other e-mail, I found this article in my hometown newspaper, the Commercial Appeal. Here's another thing to be aware of:

I just love it when diaspora Jews know what is best for us in Israel in American politics. They all have their pet politician. They all stab us in the back.
